My lease is up on May 1st can my landlord show up and throw me out?!?

So me and my fiancé are currently renting a apartment in New Hampshire which is currently in a state of emergency due to corona virus. We both have lost our jobs due to the pandemic. Our lease is up on May 1st. Our landlord wants us out. We have no where to go, on May 1st can he show up and throw us out? Or does he still have to go court?
